- Make the crostini. Heat oven to 375° F. Use a sharp knife to slice a baguette into 1/4 to ½ inch thick slices. Cut slighly on the diagonal. Brush lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Space on a baking sheet and place in pre-heated oven. Bake for 7 – 8 minutes or until golden brown, flipping once halfway through. Crostini should be lightly browned, lightly toasted but still “springy” in the middle. Remove from oven and rub with a cut garlic clove.
- Use a fork to mash an avocado. Mix with the juice of one lime and a finely minced garlic clove.
- Peel and devein the prawns or shrimp and pat dry.
- Cut the bacon slices into thirds or half, depending on how long they are and on the size of the shrimp you’re using. You want the bacon to wrap around the shrimp without overlapping too much so that none of the bacon is raw.
- Brush the basket of your air fryer with a small amount of oil, or spray using an oil mister.
